Each 5kg block expands to approximately 75 litres, providing around 16,125 litres of hydrated coir per pallet. The compressed format saves storage space and lets you prepare the amount you need.

How to prepare

Place a block in a large container and gradually add approximately 18–20 litres of water. Allow it to absorb the water, then break apart and fluff until evenly hydrated. Adjust the water quantity as needed.

Use on its own where appropriate or blend with perlite, compost or other ingredients to suit your plants. Coir contains very little plant nutrition, so add a suitable fertiliser or nutrient-rich component as required.
